Absolutely! Our bootcamp are aimed at beginners. All steps and dances will be covered and explained slowly in the classes. The idea of the bootcamp is to learn a few simple steps and repeat them to give you a fun and energetic workout.
I've never danced before. Can I attend the bootcamp?
Do I have to be super fit to attend?
Not at all. There will be breaks in between learning steps and dancing to the music so don’t worry, it’s not non-stop for 90 minutes. The classes are structured so you can push yourself as hard or as easy as you want so it’s up to you. You can push yourself harder as your fitness increases as the weeks progress.
What should I wear?
You should wear usual workout clothes (something you would wear to the gym). Even though it is a dance class we do not recommend that you wear dance shoes. Wear comfortable trainers that are not too bulky so that they do not inhibit your dancing.
What should I bring?
Just yourself and some water to keep yourself hydrated.
Can I attend a boot camp on a drop in basis?
Unfortunately not. As places are limited and as we build on the steps/dances as the weeks progress we require that you sign up for the full 5 week course.
Is the class suitable for children?
As this is an adult fitness class it is only suitable for people above 16 years of age. If you are interested in kids classes check out our other website aw www.IrishDanceClass.ie where we have details of our classes that are held in Trim & Navan, Meath.
